SYNOPSIS

This part-science, history, and observational documentary offers a quirky perspective on an age-old turf war waged between man and nature. In the heart of one of Singapore’s premium tourist destinations, hundreds of thousands of birds flock daily to the tree-lined Orchard Road boulevard, swooping over the heads of local and tourist shoppers. To tackle the many issues that the birds create, a motley group of arborists, avian researchers, business stewards and even Christmas décor designers, are harnessing their expertise to identify the root cause of this daily bird migration, and to source for potential solutions. The race is on to strike a Uniquely Singapore balance between modernity and nature, all in time for the 30th Annual Orchard Road Christmas Light-up in Singapore.
